Student Spotlight

We are proud to recognize Shannon Kinney as our HCA Student Spotlight, nominated by her instructor in recognition of her outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence.

Shannon currently serves as a Benefits Coordinator for AdventHealth in Florida and is also a Certified Medical Coder. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for nearly 24 years and is a proud mother of three and grandmother of one.

At the age of 43, Shannon made the inspiring decision to return to school, not only to advance her career, but also to set a powerful example for her family. She is committed to showing her children and grandchildren that no matter where you are in life, you can achieve your goals through hard work, perseverance, and determination.
