January Online Student Spotlight Award

We are excited to recognize our January Student Spotlight, Tasha Cross! Tasha is enrolled in our Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) program and has shown incredible dedication to not only her studies but her profession as well. Tasha was motivated to go back to school, and she says her family was a huge inspiration. She wanted to show her children that it’s never too late to keep learning and to challenge yourself! Going back to school did not come without challenges—she was nervous about returning to school and struggled with self-doubt. However, Tasha has proven to be an exemplary student. Her instructors tell us that Tasha holds herself to high standards, her contributions to class discussions are thoughtful, and she consistently delivers high-quality work. Tasha has been a registered respiratory therapist for 15 years and a registered polysomnography technician for 7 years. She currently works in the home medical equipment field. She helps patients stay in the comfort of their own homes while providing them with the medical care they need. Tasha also had experience in hospital settings and outpatient testing in both cardiology and neurology. By pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy, she’s aiming to continue advancing her career in healthcare—and we are sure that she will! Tasha’s dedication to her family, her education, and her profession is inspiring. Congratulations, Tasha, on being recognized as our January Student Spotlight!
