Congratulations to our Student Spotlight recipient, Filiberto Sanchez! Filiberto is an exceptional recent graduate of the Bachelor of Respiratory Therapy program whose clinical expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence distinguish him among his peers. With extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric critical care, as well as inter-facility transport, he consistently demonstrates advanced clinical judgment, professionalism, and a strong collaborative mindset in high-acuity settings.

Filiberto is deeply committed to teamwork, mentorship, and patient-centered care, supporting the growth of fellow respiratory therapists while modeling accountability and clear communication. Reflecting on his journey, Filiberto shared, “I want to thank God and my family for being so supportive during this time and helping me reach my lifelong goal of completing my baccalaureate. They give me purpose.”
