This tool helps you see where your time goes and how you can better prioritize your schoolwork without sacrificing family, self-care, or sleep.
How to Use This Tool:
Click the Calendar for Success Tool Access button above to open the template.
This is a view-only file. To make it your own:
Go to the top menu and click File > Make a copy.
Save it to your Google Drive.
Fill in each block with your typical activities (sleep, work, meals, errands, family time, etc.).
Add your school time throughout the week until you reach your program’s recommended weekly hours:
20 hours/week for Associate’s Degree students
35 hours/week for Bachelor’s Degree students
25 hours/week for Master’s Degree students
Time Management Tips:
Be realistic about your energy levels, plan study times when you're most alert.
Break study sessions into chunks (1-2 hours) and take short breaks.
Use the “Emergency Cushion” time (built into the schedule) for unexpected life moments.
Review and adjust weekly to stay flexible with changing responsibilities.
Color-code or label categories like work, school, personal, and family for easy reading.
